RAM- 32 MB TA:CC or TA:BT is not required, but recommended Latest version of TAMEC.hpi is required Installation- extract all files into your default TA directory. Files that should have been extracted are: abaeterno.ufo - main map file abaeterno.txt - readme file abaeterno.bmp - radar image Description- This map was created to demonstrate my first unique tileset. This tileset is a snow world, with huge mountains and narrow valleys. There are also some castle tiles for variety. All starting positions have basically the same resources, space to build, and are surrounded mountains. Trees cover much of the map, blocking many pathways, you should get used to BURNING! Burning will not just clear new paths, it will expose hidden metal! There are metal patches hidden all over the map, and it is essential for you to use them. The map also comes with a custom AI, based on McnTerra. The AI will build very quickly, and it loves to have huge groups of units all over the map. Have fun! Note on tileset- This map used my first tileset, Siberia. The tileset was created using Bryce 4 and PSP. In the process of making this tileset, I did not consider the fact that TA's graphics are not truely 3D, and I had many places where the units would be hidden from the player's view. But when I first tried the map, I noticed that the units did not disappear from view, but instead, walked right over the mountain as if it was flat. Therefore, I was used to void out many parts of the map, and one or two of the valleys were made almost useless. What's left of the tileset is still very awesome and it still offers an interesting game. Multiplayer- this map can support up to 4 players, and each of the starting positions is very different, so for the best game, I suggest you play with a random starting position. Team play should be very interesting. You can team up anyway you want, and each combination will offer a very different game.
