Description: ******** You need Tamec's Feature Pack 11 or higher to use this map. ******** This map can be played very easily in Single and Multi player. I have a 200Mz system with 128Meg memory. For decent game play I set max units to 200. I tested this game with CAVEDOG Units only. Multi Player Layout: Player 1 East Lush ARM Player 4 Ocean North Outpost Player 5 West Southern Cliffs Player 2 East Desert Player 7 Ocean South Outpost Player 8 West Core Complex Player 3 East Slate Player 6 West Northern Cliffs This map was designed for the skilled TA player. Not for the players who complain about start positions and available resources. If you're good you'll find away. In the metal city the only viable resource as metal is the special tiles I have created. It's a dark rusty color very prevalent in the Core Complex. It's also available in other places on the map under the guise of foundations of old and abandoned Core Forts. You will see these with grass or sand covering them. They are rich in metal. The REAL TEST is can you Start from the West (Start Position one) in Arm Territory and proceed East to The Core Complex without using nukes, since the computer does not use them. For the Core Commanders start from the East (Start Position eight) to the West. You'll go through various landscapes of different elevations. When reaching these different elevations you'll have to change your strategy and units. When you reach the ocean the enemy navel force will be waiting. If you can get to the opposite shore you will encounter unclimbable cliffs extending from the North to the South. The only way through is by a wide river with a narrow shore line. This river is in a valley, there are cliffs every where. By the time you get there the forces will be so strong the big guns will nail you. Soon you'll see the Core Complex a Metal City. The Core Complex is a beautiful city. I'm using the DemonAI, if you want a better player in single user you'll have to provide your own AI. Hope you like it. Datanut Installation: -If you obtained this map as .ufo-file: Copy the .ufo-file to the TOTALA-directory (Not the TOTALA\MAPS-directory). -If you obtained this map as .tnt- and .ota-file: Make a subdirectory TOTALA\MAPS and extract the .tnt- and ota-file into it. -When selecting skirmishmode-maps, this map should be available.
