X - ISLE AUTHOR: joshcomm1 (Jon C. Randall) E-MAIL: joshcomm@earthlink.net ICQ: 81658469 MAP NAME: X - ISLE PRI MAP TYPE: Atlantis SEC MAP TYPE: Water SIZE OF MAP: 9.55mb unzipped, 9.95mb zipped, 16mb, 16 x 16 MAX NO. PLAYERS: 10 TESTED: Yes TOOLS USED: Annihilator 1.5, HPI Pack. Wretched is the man that has no friend to guard his back, who stands alone. MAP TOPOGRAPHY: This battlemap is unusual for a naval battle. Don't slow down building your forces, or you'll find youself wiped off the face of the map. Exellent for various multi-styled combos. Used in both multiplayer/skirmish mode. Has settings for Easy, Medium, Hard, and Network 1, each with their own AI and starting positions. COMBINATION TILESETS USED: Atlantis (by Datanut). ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: I would recommend using WinZip to extract this "X - ISLE.zip" file (and remember where you extracted it to): saving the "X - ISLE.jpg" for viewing, "X - ISLE.txt" to read, and this unique battlemap "X - ISLE.ufo" to be placed directly in your C:\Cavedog\Totala directory. In this version of the map, I used Datanut's DemonWaterAI for gameplaying. This AI file works very well with this map. I recommend you creating a file called AI in your C:\Cavedog\Totala directory, then installing the "DemonWaterAI.txt" AI file into this newly created AI file. You will see an enhanced warfare that is enjoyable and aggressive. It is effective in the Hard and Network skirmish mode of TA. Further, if you want heavy combat conditions, add also the AIBoost.ufo into your C:\Cavedog\Totala directory, to make this game more interesting to you.....and keep you on your toes. Do be prepared to fight. This enhances the Easy and Medium settings of skirmish mode, which has its own AI's and starting positions. After unzipping and installing the above files, then reboot your system, and reload the game for gameplaying. Another recommendation is your having TAMECHeavy in your C:\Cavedog\Totala directory. You must have either The Core Contingency or Battle Tactics expansion packs installed in order to use this map. joshcomm1 (Staff-AfterMath Design)
